A Plea : Not Only For          You But Also For Me     Always having to bail us out;    Always listening to fears and doubts;  He said believing has to be, the mixing of faith with unity;   First, in my body, soul and spirit; Then, confirming signs,    so that others can hear it;   I mean, hear the good new and see it too:     That Jesus ate death for me and for you;   I doubt that parasites could exist, with such a response    from my spirit as this;   Moses didn’t spend much time persuading;    The wonders were right up in their face; Like the snake on the pole, so that they would know:    You are blessed, now get in on the race...   and take the giants and take the land;    It was evident then, that God was at hand.    That was then and this is now;    The one that was promised came; According to scripture, all is completed    and nothing should be the same!    Near as I can tell, they had their own plan    and desired to go to that other land;   I imagine they wanted to crucify Moses`    and blamed him for rocking their boat; I understand that rebellion gained ground;    They even took up a vote;   They all were servants but we are sons;    That would have changed, had they listened; Then I asked myself, How well do I hear/    What really, is my position?    And is “going back” really the issue?     Have I ever really begun? How many giants have I overcome    for the love of The Holy One?   Will corporate unity ever play out?     And with more than just nodding our heads; Yet, I hear so very few questions asked;    Rather, justification instead.    Be careful that stand; It isn’t God’s plan;    The “good new” of His Kingdom’s chained too; He wants an explosion with His power released    on the inside, then outside of you;   Well, how can that happen when I pretend all is well?     You’ll develop your own doctrines and leave victory in Hell.    Think back on when all things fell apart;    You ran like a chicken and that was the start... of hiding exposure; to blame someone else    for your road to “rightness”; It’s safe on that shelf!    But, is it really? I ask you this: Have you dealt with fears?    Does excitement exist?  Stagnation makes bodies wither and decay;    Have you multiplied bread so far that way?    Or has this become a parable, in the midst of your    rationalization?  I remember a time when that wasn’t true;    Love, then, had great expectation.    I can almost hear the response to this:     I was young, then and now I’m mature; That wasn’t the part that was suppose to die;    You killed your expectation, sir;   But, I found someone that went on and survived;    That, at very great odds, kept God’s Love alive and he’s still going on; It’s starting to spread:     The seed; The sprout; The tree... raised from the dead!!!        Birth from:    Conversation at The Red Rooster   February l4th, 2005
