Trustee

I saw a picture of a conference room;

   I was on the Board of Trustees;

At each chair, a speaker phone

   to approve investments from me.

Now, wait a minute, to invest corporate money,

   I think I can almost see;

But, what kind of corporation is this

   where the only investor is me?

As I looked around, the room was empty;

   Only me and the two-way line;

Upon the door was a gold plate inscribed:

   “Don’t Disturb: In Conference” to find:

The foundation; The Frame; The Bookkeeping System;

   In short; How the company works. 

The By-Laws were drafted for me to read

   and decide if I saw it’s worth.

The financial statement was all in red;

   The cover was stamped, “Paid In Full”. 

To not be involved in a company like this,

   would make me an absolute fool!

Then I heard the C.O. say to me,

   “This is for your consideration;

The important thing in this conference room,

   is our two-way conversation.” 

“I’ll love you, even if you don’t invest

   but, if you want to set-up My Kingdom,

this is the transfer you’ll have to make.”

   “Your emotions are in the world’s system.” 

“I didn’t design them to make your choices

   but My truth has come to assist.”

“You keep the line open and I will instruct you

   in the way of My Kingdom business.”

“Don’t think, with each choice, that there’ll be no reward;

   I’m talking to many that are on My Board.”

“But, even if you were the only one,

   there would be enough power to get the job done.”

“With each choice you make, you’ll determine time spent

   with Me in My place....or another;”

“Eventually, you’ll vacate those places of stress’

   one automatically “veto’s” the other.” 

“A great foundation that’s built on My Heart;

   and not for the reason of “tax break”;

Although this is true, that can’t be your motive;

   I don’t pay “wages” for your sake.”

“Which kingdom will your choices respond today? 

   Each one has it’s own rewards. 

Before you respond, remember to see

   that you are My Board; You are My trustee.”
