THE LIGHT OF MY INHERITANCE HAS, AGAIN, BECOME MY DEFENSE

Am I now to sweep my own house clean...                 

   or believe that Jesus already did? 

To seek what You did first..then, will be added to me...

   necessary things daily...proving I’m free...

to not allow ‘suggestions’ to malign and confuse...

   that my body is whole and not to be used...

for any ‘form’ of ‘works’ to attain...

   The Gift of Your Righteousness...when I was named with Your Name!

If I try to re-build that which You have destroyed,

   I have chosen to become a transgressor;

It is not thru The Law that I am justified...

   but by the faith OF The Son, who was crucified...

and I with Him, so that my flesh now lives;

   Because of Jesus only;

One step beyond, I fall off Your Foundation...

   and Your Seed is no longer wholly...

but, partial to me and not complete;

   Then my steps turn into trying to complete...

to ‘measure-up’ to what’s been given free;

   A subtle deception; Not what I’m called to be...

so I can be transformed into what’s already mine; 

   Am I ‘that strongman’ that Truth has defined?

There have been a lot of tumors ‘formed’...

   that are visibly seen;

Benign, when surrounded and waiting to see...

   if my faith OF Jesus ends malignancy! 

Our bodies are designed to ‘encapsulate’...

   when a foreigner tries to enter our gate;

The steps we are taking, when based on His Truth,

   all creation responds to and will produce...

to cut the blood supply of the stranger I let in;

   Completely exposed by my inheritance...again!
