IF MY YARDSTICK IS:
If my yardstick is to not “stumble” men...
then, automatically, I please God;
To become all things to all...that some might be saved; Yes, even to those under the law...
to let them know Messiah has come; to let them know...
The Law won’t save anyone.
This Truth, the self-righteous have never found;
With power, then, “religion” falls to the ground.
Condemnation’s replaced with gratitude,
as well as their struggles to try to be “good”,
and their inabilities to try to survive...
become opportunities not based on those lies.
The whole focus changes from “rules” and “cannot’s”;
A heart foundation that most teachers forgot.
What was the thing that turned me to Him?
Was it, “I have paid all for you?”
Shortly thereafter, you are handed a list...
of all of the things you must do.
Why were we not told, “That payment’s so complete,
if you will now, just sit at His feet,
He will show you all things that will profit you...
and His Spirit will tell you He will help you do...
all of His ways that will stop decay;
His promise: I will not forsake you.”
To have a teacher that will encourage solutions,
and not focus on your “falling down’s”;
is of much profit to you, as well as to God...
as he shares the treasures he’s found.
This will “short-cut” your walk to be more than just “talk”...
and you will share with him out of what you’ve been taught...
as he’s already learned God will keep His Word
as he’s being fed from what The Spirit’s discerned.
This now becomes God’s Comfort Zone;
You will be more than willing to leave your own...
because your confidence is in The System of No Collapse;
You are the “interest” in a Bank such as that.
It’s automatic; You won’t “store up”;
The “Teller’s” Window, never closes for lunch;
The “pass book” you hold is a “joint account”...
with collateral of an infinite amount.
You really dictate what the amount will be...
the more you believe Him, more “security’s” released.
So, yes, re-arrange your life to sit at His feet,
and talk over all things that look like defeat;
He’ll show you His Plan, and as this is revealed,
you will realize your “deed” is stamped: HEALED!!!
